Director of Health Care Quality Improvement

Beckey Fain Cochran, MSN, RN, CPHQ, has been in charge of the West Virginia Medicare Health Care Quality Improvement Program at WVMI since its inception in 1993. She has 30 years experience as a registered nurse in varied clinical settings. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a BS in Nursing and West Virginia University with a MS in Nursing. She also holds a certificate in Health Care Risk Management from University of Chicago, Health Sciences Institute. Ms. Cochran attained her CPHQ in 1987. She has over 20 years in health care quality and risk management experience. She is a member of the Alpha Rho Chapter of the national nursing honorary society, Sigma Theta Tau.
