Scott A. Lannan brings more than a decade of experience and certification as a human resources professional to his position as Human Resources Director at the West Virginia Medical Institute & Quality Insights. He ensures compliance with state and federal employment law and fosters leadership, helping and empowering managers to lead and coach. He also serves as the internal resource for issues related to all employment decisions. Mr. Lannan worked in the Human Resources Department at a major health system for 10 years, most recently as a Lead Human Resources Associate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from West Virginia University and two Master of Science degrees from Marshall University. One is in industrial and employee relations, while the other is in health care administration. He is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resources Management.
