Naomi Hauser has more than 30 years of long term care experience, including its clinical, administrative and regulatory components.
She served as director of nursing at the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester, N.Y. while the facility was developing a 40-bed dementia unit that incorporated specialized programs in feeding, bathing and daycare. She also was the northern regional director of nursing with Acts Retirement Communities, Inc. in West Point, Pa. and clinical services manager with Genesis Health Ventures in Kennett Square, Pa.
Ms. Hauser studied comparative health care systems in Holland, Russia and Canada regarding end-of-life care and dementia. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (PANPHA), the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, and the National Association of Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care.
Ms. Hauser received a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from St. Joseph’s College in North Wyndham, Maine, and a master’s degree in public administration from the State University of New York in Brockport, N.Y.
