HCQIP Director, Quality Insights of Pennsylvania
Donna Balsley has held positions of Director of Nursing, Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Operating Officer for several acute care hospitals in Pennsylvania. In all her positions she was actively involved in developing and implementing Quality programs. She is also a Nurse Surveyor for the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation program and surveys hospitals across the United States. She has served as a consultant for Quality Programs in hospitals.
Ms. Balsley is a Certified Healthcare Executive with the American College of Healthcare executives, a member of the Central PA Healthcare Quality Managers Association and a member of the Southcentral Organization of Nurse Executives.
Ms. Balsley received her diploma is nursing from Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Messiah College, Grantham, PA and her Masters in Business Administration from Frostburg University, Frostburg, MD.
