Donald Wilson, M.D., Medical Director, Quality Insights of Pennsylvania

Donald Wilson, MDDr. Wilson earned his B.A. from the University of Delaware. His educational background also includes the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Wilson’s postgraduate training included an OB/GYN internship and residency at Wilmington Medical Center in Wilmington, DE.

Dr. Wilson is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Dr. Wilson’s previous medical experience includes serving as Chief of OB/GYN for 11 years at Brandywine Hospital in Chester County. He was also the managing physician for a large, busy OB/GYN practice. In addition, he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. Prior to coming to Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wilson was an Associate Clinical Coordinator for KePRO. In that role he worked mainly with hospitals and physicians to improve the quality of care given to Medicare beneficiaries both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives, the American Health Quality Association’s Medical Affairs Section, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Chester County Medical Society, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
