Dr. Wenner graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1978. He completed his medical school training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After serving a one-year rotating internship, he completed a Family Practice Residency at Harrisburg Hospital and served as the Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Wenner has been in private practice in the Harrisburg area for the past 15 years. He left full-time clinical practice in the last year but still maintains a large nursing home practice and donates time in the Harrisburg area at a free clinic.
Dr. Wenner’s previous medical experience includes serving as a physician in family practices and a health maintenance organization.
His medical society and professional associations have included membership in the Pennsylvania Professional Diabetes Academy Board of Directors, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Dauphin County Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
