    (Charleston, WV) WVMI & Quality Insights is recruiting a Chief Medical Officer. The incumbent will be a board-certified physician with at least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in health care organizational leadership and a strong knowledge of quality improvement. Important experiences necessary to carry out the duties of this position include:

    • Clinical practice in a certified specialty with an academic appointment a plus
    • Active involvement in institutional/network clinical quality improvement activities
    • Participation in state, regional and/or national professional organizations
    • Experience with implementation of contracts and grants
    • Publication in relevant professional journals

  • Network Engineer
    (WVMI, Charleston, WV) The West Virginia Medical Institute (WVMI), a successful and growing health care quality-improvement organization, has a unique opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer in its IT Department in Charleston West Virginia. Primary functions are to design, implement and support network infrastructure including LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. Other duties include network monitoring, IOS upgrades, router/switch configurations, and VoIP support along with working with vendors, WAN service providers and consultants, as needed. Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with prominence in Information Technology and have a minimum of three years of professional networking experience, with emphasis on Cisco devices. Data abstraction experience and knowledge of HEDIS and Joint Commission hospital quality measures a plus. Solid computer skills are required.     (Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA) Provides clerical support to the Harrisburg Review Department. Daily tasks include phone coverage for Medicare appeals and the Beneficiary Helpline, preparing letters for beneficiaries and providers, and data entry related to review processes. Must have excellent customer service, telephone skills, strong keyboarding skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented and a team player. Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience and Skills: At least five (5) years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a health care enviroment. Intermediate or higher level proficiency using Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office products required. Must have knowledge of accepted, best practice, office procedures, including but not limited to file maintenance, document imaging, composing correspondence, as well as routine organizational and communications processes. Excellent customer service, telephone, and communication skills required.
     

  • Administrative Assistant for Regional Extension Center
    (Quality Insights of Delaware, Wilmington, DE) Under limited supervision, provides administrative, technical and high-level clerical support to the Director and staff of the Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (REC). Performs multiple functions requiring advanced skills and planning ability in the development of innovative departmental solutions and processes. Qualifications: Education: A baccalaureate degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited four-year college or university is required. Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in an administrative/executive support role, preferably in a health-care environment. Intermediate or higher level proficiency using Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office products required. Must have a broad knowledge of accepted, best-practice, office management procedures, including but not limited to file maintenance, document imaging, composing correspondence, report generation, as well as more routine organizational and communication processes. Substitution: An associate degree and two (2) additional years of experience, beyond the minimum set forth above, may substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
     
  • Service Desk Agent II
    (WVMI, Charleston, WV) Under the direct supervision of a Service Desk Agent III or the Director of IT Infrastructure, performs intermediate-level customer support and technical assistance in response to questions/requests received by the WVMI Service Desk. Helps direct the efforts of Service Desk Agent I personnel. Qualifications: Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Technical training beyond high school, or associate degree, preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in a customer-service environment and proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Products preferred. Special Requirements: May require working outside of normal/scheduled business hours. May require lifting between 10 and 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
     
  • Facilities Manager
    (WVMI, Charleston, WV) Reporting to the CIO, the Facilities Manager is responsible for providing facilities oversight and management for all WVMI/QI office locations and leading the corporate facilities department. Additionally, this position serves as the corporate safety coordinator. The Facilities Manager works with all WVMI/QI personnel to ensure that facilities management requirements are effectively and efficiently met. Also supervises the Courier/Facilities Support position. Qualifications: Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in business administration or other relevant discipline. Experience/Skills: Five (5) or more years of management experience, facilities management preferred. Proven ability to understand and develop solutions to complex issues. Substitutions: Ten (10) years of full-time paid work experience and facilities management certification may substitute for formal business degree education requirements. Special Requirements: Must have a valid WV driver’s license and a clean driving record. Requires a security clearance and a willingness to achieve CFM (Certified Facility Manager) credential.
     
  • Network Engineer
    (WVMI, Charleston, WV) Design, implement and support network infrastructure including LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco ACS, VoIP, Intrusion Detection, and firewalls. Duties include network monitoring, IOS upgrades, router/switch configurations, and VoIP support. Work with vendors, WAN service providers, and consultants as needed. Education: Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in computer science preferred. Experience: (1) Four or more years of professional networking experience, with an emphasis on Cisco devices, LAN/WAN configurations, and network security; (2) at least one year experience with Cisco VPN technologies and AAA authentication services. Special Requirement(s): must pursue or already hold the following IT certifications: (1) Comptia Network+ and (2) Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP). 
       
  • PAS Field Nurses
    (WVMI, WV) Conduct in-home medical necessity reviews to support the West Virginia Bureau for Medical Services' Aged and Disabled Waiver Program. Regional travel is required. Clinical experience in the areas of home health, rehabilitation and/or skilled nursing care preferred. These positions are home-based and require excellent clinical assessment, documentation and communication skills and familiarity with computer technology.
